The Body Shop: Changemaking Beauty

Over two years with The Body Shop, I had the privilege of shaping campaigns that moved beyond product to spotlight people, communities, and purpose.

In 2023, we launched Changemaking Beauty: a main campaign film starring seasoned actress Shefali Shah, ace soccer star Bala Devi, and Captain Anny Divya, the youngest Boeing-777 pilot in the world. It told a story of resilience and individuality, amplifying the brand’s core message: beauty lies in strength, resolve, and the freedom to be yourself. Alongside the main manifesto film, we also crafted product-led stories and cutdowns.

In 2024, the story became hyper-local with Teddy Exports, highlighting the artisan community in Madurai that crafts the festive gifting pouches for The Body Shop. Shot across Mumbai and Madurai, the campaign celebrated fair trade, women-led workforces, and the idea that gifting carries a deeper meaning when it empowers others.
